Terms & Conditions
Reservations:
- .When booking it is necessary to pay a deposit equal to 50% of the total price or full payment if possible.
- .The balance must be paid 60 days before the arrival date.
- .In the case of bookings close to the start of the Safari you can make various arrangements with our office.
- .Payment can be made by bank transfer or credit card /link(online payment)
- .All bank charges for the transfer are borne by the customer.
- .Payments to African Meraviglia Safaris by credit card (by link) are subject to a 3.5% processing fee.
- The customer can transfer the contract to another customer and bear the additional costs
- African Meraviglia Safaris assumes no responsibility for the conduct of flights, for the delivery of baggage, for any changes in flight operations and for the carriers failure to inform the passenger of any changes decided upon.
- All quotes and prices are based on current park taxes, VAT and other government taxes, in the event of increases or the introduction of new taxes the increase will be charged to the customer even if the trip has already been partially or fully paid for.
Cancellations:
Cancellations must be submitted in writing before the start of the safari and the following penalties will be applied:-
- 250 USD penalty per person for cancellations at least 95 days before the start of the Safari.
- The entire advance payment in case of cancellations more than 65 days before the start of the Safari..
- 100% of the total cost for the cancellations less than 65 days before the start of the Safari.
- There will be no refunds for portions of the program /itinerary not completed for any reason.
- Any changes to an already deciced itinerary could result in additional costs.
African Meraviglia Safaris reserves the following rights and agrees to :
- Change the itinerary if necessary to safeguard the safety of our customer.
- Replace an accommodation (hotel,lodge,tented camp, etc.) with another accommodation of the same level.
- Repair or replace broken down vehicles and recover any lost hours as far as possible and in compliance with regulation of parks and nature reserves. African Meraviglia Safaris also undertakes to avoid and limit inefficiencies linked to breakdowns or delays in the means of transport used. However, it is not possible to completely avoid such inconveniences which are part of an adventure holiday such as safari and which could cause delays or loss of hours of game drives which cannot always be recovered or refunded.
- Use Toyota Land Cruisers during game drives.The maximum number of passengers allowed per vehicle is 7 for a long wheelbase jeep.
- African Meraviglia Safaris is responsible for the adequate performance of the services included in the contract and traveler assistance . The traveler is required to notify African Meraviglia Safaris as soon as possible if the service is not provided as per the contract.
Insurance
African Meraviglia Safaris is committed to protecting the safety and security of its customers with every means at its disposal. However African Meraviglia Safaris accepts no liability:-
- In the event of loss or damage to objects belonging to the customer in any way whatsoever.
- In the event of illness, infection , injury or death of the customer in any occurring.
- For any change in the itinerary due to bad weather, poor road conditions safety reasons or other causes major force.
- In case of damages, direct or indirect, linked to delays in the departure or arrival of the customer,including delays linked to delays in air , rail or other means of transport.
- In case of dangerous situations or natural disasters that could occur during the Safari.
All the previous conditions and other unexpected causes not mentioned above could cause the modification, reduction or total cancellation of your Safari. Unfortunately due to the costs incurred by us following each booking , any cancellation after booking will incur penalties up to the total cost of the Safari.
For this reason we consider it mandatory to have an insurance policy that you can sign up with your insurance company.
