Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by a representative and transferred to Kibo Palace Hotel in Arusha. After check-in, you can relax at the hotel or explore the town at your leisure. A briefing with your safari guide will be arranged to go over the itinerary and answer any questions you may have.

Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions and vibrant birdlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive through the park’s dense forest and along the lake shore, where you’ll spot flamingos, hippos, and other aquatic species. The park is also home to elephants, giraffes, and various primates. A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic spot before continuing the drive. In the evening, head to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Karatu to Central Serengeti

After breakfast, drive to the Central Serengeti, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. Central Serengeti is rich in wildlife due to the Seronera River, which attracts large numbers of predators and prey. Enjoy a game drive in the Seronera region, where you might spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, and elephants. After a thrilling day of wildlife viewing, head to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Central Serengeti to Southern Serengeti (Ndutu Region)

After breakfast, embark on a game drive towards the Southern Serengeti and Ndutu region, known for the Great Migration during calving season. The open plains are ideal for witnessing predators like lions and cheetahs hunting newborn wildebeests. You’ll also see herds of zebras, gazelles, and elephants. In the evening, enjoy a sunset game drive before heading to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Full-Day Game Drive in Ndutu

Spend a full day exploring the Ndutu region, which is part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The region’s seasonal water sources attract large herds of wildebeests and zebras, along with predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas. A picnic lunch will be served in the bush, followed by an afternoon game drive. Return to your camp for dinner and relaxation.

Day 6: Ndutu to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, head towards the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend 600 meters to the crater floor for a full-day game drive. Ngorongoro Crater is home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino) and large herds of wildebeests and zebras. Visit Lake Magadi to see hippos and flamingos. After the game drive, ascend the crater and head to Karatu for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Ngorongoro to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive, where you can spot lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, and countless bird species. Tarangire is also home to rare species like the fringe-eared oryx and greater kudu. After the game drive, return to Arusha for an overnight stay.

Day 8: Departure from Arusha

After breakfast, relax at the hotel or explore Arusha at your own pace. Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
