Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to Kibo Palace Hotel in Arusha. After check-in, you can relax and unwind after your flight. The hotel offers modern amenities, including a swimming pool, a spa, and a restaurant serving both local and international cuisine. In the evening, your safari guide will meet you for a detailed briefing about the exciting days ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park (approximately 2.5 hours). Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large flocks of flamingos, and the scenic alkaline lake. The park’s diverse landscape includes groundwater forests, open plains, and swamps, providing a habitat for elephants, giraffes, hippos, and over 400 bird species. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. In the evening, drive to Karatu for a relaxing dinner at Marella Valley.

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park (approximately 2 hours). Tarangire is known for its massive elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, and giraffes. The Tarangire River attracts a variety of animals, providing excellent game-viewing opportunities. After a thrilling day of wildlife spotting, return to Marella Valley in Karatu for dinner and relaxation.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (approximately 2 hours). Descend 600 meters to the crater floor for a day of exceptional game viewing in one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in Africa. The crater is home to lions, elephants, hippos, hyenas, and the endangered black rhino. The alkaline Lake Magadi attracts flamingos and other water birds, while the open plains support wildebeests, zebras, and buffalo. After a picnic lunch, ascend the crater and return to Arusha. Enjoy an optional overnight stay at Kibo Palace Hotel or a direct transfer to the airport for your departure.
